The latest

1- Israel has targeted three telecommunications centers in Lebanon today. Arab media broadcasting live (and troublesome) reports from Lebanon would have problems after this. We have to rely on BBC -for instance- who has fixed a reporter in Beirut with a British ship at the background and Jim Muir in the south with another fixed background of a peaceful scenery , a plain somewhere in Tyre. (Is there war in Lebanon?!?)

2- - Thousands of Israeli reservists are called up.

3- US secretary of state has honored us by her latest analysis on war in Mid East. She has been pretty frank and hasn't wasted our time by parroting boring blah blahs about peace and terrorism. She has said:

a- "This is a different Middle East. It's a new Middle East. It's hard, We're going through a very violent time,".
b- "A ceasefire would be a false promise if it simply returns us to the status quo."

Hm, I wish for all this to end soon and you to return to writting other things. It is unfortunate that our world is full of wars and disasters.

But tell me, how is the mood among Iranians regarding Lebanon. Are people afraid of a possible war against the US if things spread? How do they stand on Hezbollah?

Take care there in Iran :)

Thanks for taking the time for writing.

Yes, I hardly can think to write anything beside war- unfortunatley. I will try to - of course.

Well, what Iranians think; Quite a tough question; we are 70 millions and we have 700 millions of views on different issues. Many of these views are not based on education, study or intellectual rationalism, but the propaganda by the system or those who oppose it.

First of all; most of my country fellows don't like war- despite what they may look from outside. They have lots of troubles within their own lives already. So, naturally they don't want more.
BUT they are sad of what's going on in Lebanon. They see scenes of destruction and human loss, the refugees and feel frustrated. But whom they consider as the responsible? Some say it's Hizbollah and some don't. But one thing is for sure; I hardly can see anybody supporting Israel and what this country is doing in Lebanon.

__

I will try (won't promise) to translate some stuff in our papers. I mean, of those which don't follow the government.

Hello,

That is a desperate post. There are many beautiful and innocent people mainly in Lebanon and some in Israel and Palestine who are suffering in a horrible way. Unfortunately, in the universe of the Middle East, when the peace seekers are loosing their power, the bombs are falling.

I'm suggesting a simulation.

Let's say that you are now the prime minister of Israel. You give the orders to the IDF.
You have the power to make peace or any kind of agreement with any country. You are able to make any move or evacuation of settlers from any land to any land inside Israel or Palestine.

Your restrictions are:

1. The security and existence of Israel is your first priority.
2. Peace is your goal.
3. Your budget is limited.
4. You must keep Israel as a democracy.
5. 100% of the civilians under your control must have all their democratic civilian rights. Any king of discrimination is not allowed.
6. You need to keep a Jewish majority inside the state of Israel for the next 99 years.

Please don't forget that now hundreds of innocent lives are taken. You need to make a fast move to bring that to an end!

Any other simulation that you choose the rules, but right now you're the leader of Hezbollah, Lebanon, Iran, Syria, USA, is very welcome.

Who wants to take the challenge?

Thank you all!!!

Peace.

Lot, Tel-Aviv, Israel
