The latest
Non- Iranians think Ahmadi-nejad is some'thing' we feel comfortable with. They think that to us, and to our culture, or to our understanding of issues, this man is ok. That he fits into what we think about domestic or global issues. No, my friends, no, this man is as strange as what you think of him. His words and stances are unacceptable, odd and strange to millions of Iranians. Well, he is the mistake the majority of our nation committed in last presidential election. He came to power with the promise of bread on tables and the frustrated hopeless majority believe him or better to say, thought it was worth to test him. I hope this country will last that long to correct the mistake. There are bad rumors we hear about the possibilities of invasion by Bushies and the deep threat they are imposing against us. So, I hope the mistake our nation made won't price too much.

The latest 'achievements' and stances of Mr President are as follow:

1- While busy with taking stances against Israel on a daily basis and making the necessary food for Israeli propaganda machine, he is brightening us with new words on population. He says the plans to restrict the population growth are nonsense. The country is wealthy enough to have 120 millions. All the words and plans to lower the population increase rate are plots to decrease the shiaa population of the world. Well, we feel mad hearing these strange strange nonsense. Right after the Revolution the same policy (to increase the shiaa population) directed the country to a disaster. We still pay the price. We are the youngest population of the whole world. The job demand is too high and too far beyond what the country can offer. And then amid the chaos, this dwarf is repeating the same shit we haven't heard for years.

2- Despite Arab countries, Fitr (end of Ramadan) is a one day holiday usually. This has been so far- as long as we remember. In Iran, yesterday was Fitr and we were supposed to get back to work today. But the Government increased the holiday to four days. Well, everybody reads their mind. When we hear the naggings of fanatic islamists that Now Ruz holidays (national holiday which is just national and not a bit Islamic and has been celebrated for more than 3000 years so far) are too long and should be shortened to a few days, then this new plan of the Government is just trying to substitute Now Ruz with Fitr (to be a religious feast).

The entire story is disgusting. Especially when the predecessors of Ahamdi-nejad walked the same way right after the Revolution and then had to retreat because the people resisted their stupidity.

I'm busy these days so badly. Seems I can't post anything rather than pictures. The above pictures is taken at 2006 Mathmatics Olympiad in Slovenia. The Iranian is standing beside his Israeli rival. So funny. The reason: just alphabet. :))

:)

I've received the above pictures via email:

The first one is taken at the seminar on "Unity among Islamic sects' and the second one at the conference on "Qualified Managers". Look at the women at the rear row; just about to explode into a big laughter.

Country of the odd

Whatsoever this country might be, it isn't monotonous definitely. Whatever related to it, is unexpected in some way, the people, the politics, the weather, etc. It doesn’t mean that you never can know it. No, after a while you would get used to it craziness, but always there is a strange thing for you to pop up at the next corner to color your life or to put a frown on your face or dig a sorrow in your heart.
A friend has emailed this picture . Just look at him. I don't know if this man fits into other societies but for us…….ah just put him into the whole context of Iran, country of traditions and turbaned clergies, etc etc….. He's totally odd: wearing tie and a long hair as if ready for dating a girl, riding a bike with ads on it reading, 'The first telephone shoeshine boy in Iran', 'Have a good day!', added by a mobile number and an email address. The address is interesting itself: Waxi means shoeshine boy and Waxima reminds an expensive car brand here- Maxima.
